This is your opportunity to own and evolve the full recruitment function across Canada which operates in the English language. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will drive innovative sourcing strategies, lead a national team, and ensure that our hiring practices support the operational needs of our dealerships, including automotive retail, fixed operations, collision centres, and corporate functions.This role is a full-time permanent position based in Edmonton and is ideal for a strategic, motivated leader with experience in high-volume recruiting, multi-brand operations, and automotive industry talent acquisition. Your leadership will ensure consistent, compliant, and effective recruitment delivery across all regions.What Drives Your Day-to-Day?Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Partners and Recruiters across multiple Canadian provinces and timezones.Oversee day-to-day recruitment operations, ensuring alignment with hiring timelines, business priorities, and workforce planning needs.Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for technical roles, collision centre talent, sales, service, administrative, and senior-level positions across multiple brands and dealership groups.Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from requisition intake to offer acceptance—ensuring a seamless, candidate-focused experience.Build and maintain strong pipelines using job boards, social platforms, proactive sourcing, and industry networking.Strengthen relationships with educational institutions, community partners, and recruitment vendors to widen talent reach across Canada.Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and quality-of-hire; provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Develop all recruitment practices and ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and international employment standards, including LMIA requirements when applicable.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to modernize recruitment processes, tools, and systems company-wide.Champion a culture of accountability, performance, and high-quality hiring within the recruitment team.What Are the Must-Haves…Minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume recruitment or talent acquisition, including national or multi-region recruiting.Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience for the automotive industry is mandatory (automotive retail, fixed operations, or collision).Completion of the RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter) designation is required.Proven experience recruiting across multi-brand dealership groups or comparable multi-brand environments.Experience leading and developing a team of multi-province recruiters in a high-volume, fast-paced setting is required.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and generate actionable insights.High attention to detail with a commitment to process excellence and compliance.Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and recruitment technologies.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.A proactive, results-driven attitude with a strong focus on continuous improvement.The PerksThe salary for this role is in the range of CAD$70,500 to $100,000Competitive Compensation PackageHealth, Vision and Dental BenefitsLife InsuranceEmployee Vehicle Purchase & Service PlansEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsCompany-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics.
