Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our nextSenior Land Development Design TechnologistYour work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Land Development team, based in Calgary, AB office, and have the opportunity to work with a great team. Working closely with Project Engineers/Managers and Discipline Manager and participate and provide support to senior staff in the design of complex Land Development projects including large scale residential, industrial, and commercial developments in and around Calgary.What a day at EXP has in store for youLead and oversee design of Land Development projects, including water mains, sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage, lot grading, roadways, and stormwater management facilitiesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologistsPerform and review complex design calculations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practicesManage projects from concept to completion, including coordination with clients, approving authorities, and internal teamsPrepare and validate engineering drawings and record documents for land development projectsEnsure quality control and adherence to timelines across all deliverablesWhat your experience looks likeBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology Diploma ( certified), or any other relevant degree or diplomaMinimum 8+ years of progressive experience in land development projectsProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to oversee its application across projectsStrong knowledge of municipal design standards, regulatory approvals, and permitting processesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules effectivelyExcellent leadership, communication, and client management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in both office and field environmentsValid driver’s license and have access to a vehicleEXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
