The position can be based in any of our three great office locations, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid setting. This is a unique opportunity for a CFP professional. You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and follow a clear growth path. As a part of this team, you will build your skills, deepen client relationships, and prepare to step confidently into a senior planner role in the future. Reporting to the Vice President, you will be responsible for: Financial Planning & Client Service Preparing, presenting, and implementing comprehensive financial plans Reviewing client progress regularly and providing ongoing advice, including recommending adjustments as needed Developing and analyzing financial planning scenarios to support informed decision-making Attending client meetings, addressing inquiries, and maintaining strong, proactive client relationships Administration & Data Management Gathering, organizing, and entering client data to initiate and support the planning process Preparing reports, client statements, and investment summaries Maintaining accurate and consistent information within the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system Ensuring proper account documentation and monitoring progress through the plan-implementation process Protecting client information and upholding all confidentiality standards Business Development & Collaboration Educating DJB Partners and staff on Wealth Management offerings Supporting and attending client education and appreciation events Introducing non-CPA firm clients to the appropriate CPA Partner Collaborating with colleagues across Wealth Management and DJB to deliver an exceptional, integrated client experience The successful candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or active enrollment nearing completion Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in financial planning or advisory support Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and manage complex financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM and financial planning platforms (e.g., Ndex, Exchange, SharePoint, Compass, NetRep, Imost, Salentica, Conquest) Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues High levels of discretion when handling confidential information If you are a confident, dedicated, and hardworking professional motivated to achieve high standards of quality service and value for clients, we would love to hear from you We appreciate all who express interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
