Are you a licensed millwright seeking a night shift ?Our client who is a leading global coatings manufacturer is seeking a Millwright on a night shift to immediately join their team on a full-time, long-term basis located in an easy to get to location just off of the 401 in Guelph.The Millwright would be responsible for maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdowns and anything in between. This is a position that requires a 433A Ticket.Location: GuelphShift: Nights - Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am Rate: $42-48 + shift premium Full Benefits3 Weeks vacationLong term opportunity Advantages- Competitive pay rate based on experience $42-48/h plus OT- Benefits after 3 month probation (this is negotiable to start from day 1)- 3 weeks' vacation to start- Growth opportunity (become team lead quickly)- Training provided- Permanent, full-time work- Recession proof industry Responsibilities- Repair all machine emergency breakdowns and schedule non-emergency repairs- Conduct minor electrical and/or electronic repairs- Monitor all manufacturing equipment and perform routine maintenance when required- Weld material using in house equipment- General maintenance of company building including offices- Order maintenance supplies- Assist Maintenance Manager to obtain quotes and special pricing- Assist Maintenance Manager schedule outside contractors- Document/log machine setups- Assist Maintenance Manager with inventory and stock control of maintenance department using in-house software- Assist in routine cleaning and maintaining a 7S environment- Mentor 2 apprentices Qualifications- 433A Certification- Minimum 5 years of Millwrighting experience required - Experience working in the plastic industry an asset but not necessary- Proficient in English (written and oral)- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team- Driven for results and self-motivated- Demonstrated sense of urgency and energy in fast paced environment- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality- Proven ability to solve problemsSummaryFor immediate consideration, please submit your resume or email it directly to Paulina Galinski at paulina.galinski@randstad.ca Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
