YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:Reporting to the Energy & Infrastructure Electrical Supervisor, you will be part of the Energy & Infrastructure Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations;Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components;Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance;Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors;Maintain, repair, and test electrical UG mobile equipment ;Maintain, repair, test and install all electrical installation (Buildings, pumping stations etc.)Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices;Conduct preventive/corrective maintenance programs and keep maintenance records;May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices;Any other duties required by the Supervisor.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDElectrical Journeyman License or License C;5 years of experience as a Journeyman or equivalent;5 years of experience as an underground electrician;Strong instrumentation skills are considered an asset;Red Seal is considered an asset;Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications as well as knowledgeable about computerized systems;Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.Note that the official working language at our Meadowbank Complex is English.
