Building Science TechnologistBuilding Science & SustainabilitySaskatoon, SKToday is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Building Science Technologist to join our Building Science & Sustainability team in our Saskatoon Office.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Building Science Technologist will demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of building systems including general knowledge of structure, building enclosures, mechanical and electrical systems, roofing systems, interior elements, site features, etc. A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin: Property Condition AssessmentsBuilding InvestigationsReserve Fund StudiesTechnical report writingLiaising with clients and contractorsPreparing proposalsDeveloping business development skills to continue existing client relationships and build new onesWhat you bring to the Pinchin team:Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Architecture or diploma in Architectural/Civil Technology1-3 years of experience related to building assessments is preferred. Sound construction knowledgeExperience conducting Baseline Property Condition Assessments in accordance with the ASTM Standard E 2018-15 "Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments" would be an assetCommercial Building Inspector experience is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)A valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)Availability to work outside our core business hours and rotational weekendsWhat’s in it for you: Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
