Responsibilities Operate remote controlled Overhead crane. Load structural steel beams onto flatbed trucks in yard.Working off order lists and organizing the load so it is safe for transportation.Assist in rigging steel beams.Support other areas of operations such as Receiving yard and Paint shop. RequirementsCompletion of high school.Previous experience with overhead crane. Able to work with minimal supervision. Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. offers a comprehensive compensation package beginning after completing forty-five (45) working shifts, including seniority with Shopmen’s Local Unit No.809, overtime hours worked paid at time & a half; double time on weekends, health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
