Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for night line haul operations from Regina to Minot, ND via North Portal Monday to Friday schedule with a 22:30 departure time from Regina, with some flexibility requiredSafely transport freight across the USA-Canada border, ensuring compliance with all international shipping regulationsMaintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo information using electronic logging devices (ELDs)Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulationsProperly secure and monitor cargo during transit to prevent damage or lossNavigate routes efficiently, considering weather conditions, traffic patterns, and delivery schedulesCommunicate effectively with dispatch, border officials, and customers as neededManage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlinesMaintain a clean and organized truck cabinPromptly report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle maintenance issues to managementAssist with the loading and unloading of freight when requiredComply with all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal transportation lawsRepresent the company professionally through appearance, behavior, and interaction with clients and the publicQualificationsA FAST Card or the ability to get approved to run into the USAClass 1 license with a minimum of 1 year of experience Clean criminal recordClean driver's abstractSupply 2 references who you reported to or supervised you. Must be able to work Canadian statutory holidays.
