Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Director of Continuing Care, the Access and Flow Manager is responsible for providing zone and operational leadership for continuing care access and flow, with a client centred, collaborative practice model for client care.   Will have responsibility to lead and engage stakeholders in the development, implementation and evaluation of improvement strategies to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources within the zone across hospital and community. Working collaboratively and consultatively with patients/clients, families, management, acute care staff, physicians, physicians’ offices, community partners, facilities and service providers, the Zone Access and Flow Manager applies critical thinking to address challenges to achieve the ultimate goal of high quality, safe and cost-effective services to better support the patient experience and flow within the zone.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Baccalaureate degree in a healthcare field and a minimum of 5 years recent and related leadership/management experience is requiredPost-graduate education or training in a related field an assetMust be currently registered with an applicable health regulatory bodyDemonstrated leadership skills (L.E.A.D.S in a healthcare environment) and ongoing professional developmentKnowledge and experience with Operational Excellence business management philosophy an assetProgressive experience in management and administration in a health care/ community setting, including financial and human resource management.
