What are we looking forAt Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Warehouse Worker located in Vaughan, ON, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.What you will doWe are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses (Natural Stone Slab Yard) to increase our efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. As a warehouse worker, your daily tasks include the preparation of merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing, staging, and preparing finished products for shipping. You will be responsible for the effective distribution of Cosentino products. To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. In this position, there will be different fronts you are going to be working with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution. Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or containerMove product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead cranePrepare Metal A-frame return shipmentsRepair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipmentsMove waste from containers to dumpstersReport issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damagesOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are metRoles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.What you need to succeedPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCERequired:2+ years of warehouse experience.2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc)Desired:Previous industry experienceEDUCATIONDesired:High School Diploma/GEDSKILLSRequired:Ability to carry and lift up to 80 lbs.Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a dayAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.What we do offerAt Cosentino, you will join a company:With an international mindset and presence in 80+ countriesWith an amazing growth story, sustained by extraordinary innovation with products such as Silestone®, Dekton® and Sensa by Cosentino®In which you will be able to grow your career and develop your leadership skillsThe starting hourly range for this position is between $20-24/hrFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.Benefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance.
