This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems on industrial sites, all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specificationsLay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systemsCut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipmentWork closely with welders and other trades to complete installationsConduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrityPerform equipment and system troubleshooting and maintenanceAdhere to all site safety procedures, policies, and regulationsComplete daily reports and maintain proper documentationQualificationsAlberta Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal JourneymanPreference will be given to candidates who hold a dual ticket (Pipefitter/Millwright or Pipefitter/Boiler Maker)High School Diploma or GEDClean Drivers AbstractPrevious experience working in the Oil & Gas or the Heavy Industrial sectorStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in physically demanding environmentsInformation And Other Key Details:This will be a fly in fly out position at our Fort Hills Site, North of Fort McMurrayThis is a camp based positionYou will work a 7 days on and 7 days off dayshift rotationThis a safety sensitive roleWhy Suncor?
