Process Coach

The Process Coach is a floor-level leader who partners with Operations, Maintenance and Quality to ensure the line runs safely, smoothly and to specification. This role delivers hands-on coaching, first-responder support for arising events, and daily process confirmation to protect throughput, first-pass yield and cost targets. the Process Coach drives and coaches Kaizen problem solving at the lowest practical level, builds Team Leader and Operator capability, and administers basic supervisory duties within a unionized production environment. Shift flexibility (including rotating shifts and weekends) is required. Minimum Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (CAEC)Experience:2+ years’ experience working in Production lines.1+ years’ experience working with and supervising unionized workforce and understanding of CBA (collective bargaining agreement)Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Availability to work in shifts (morning/afternoon/evening) as required.Preferred Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).Experience:Experience in body shop, stamping, paint, subassembly, or machining preferred.Safety and Quality experience preferred.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).Prior experience managing a unionized workforce.Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining experience (specific to Power Take-Off).Helium leak stand experience (specific to Power Take-Off).Adept problem-solving and conflict management skills.Effective organizational and administrative capabilities.*This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team.*The expected annual salary range for this position is $74,000 - $124,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Ford of Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
