Job Posting Day Camp Coordinator About the Role The Day Camp Coordinator provides leadership and daily oversight to all Day Camp Units. This role supports Day Camp Leaders, manages caregiver communication, and ensures successful camper experiences. Key Responsibilities Spring: Assist with hiring Day Camp Leaders Update Day Camp resources and schedule Review and coordinate 1:1 camper intake Support Day Camp–specific training development Summer: Provide daily supervision and coaching to Day Camp Leaders Lead arrival/dismissal routines and staff meetings Maintain caregiver communication and support camper needs Oversee all Day Camp Units during daily programming Support the 1:1 Integration Program Mentor staff and support evaluations What We’re Looking For Strong communication and organizational skills Leadership experience; readiness for supervisory role Ability to build relationships across ages and teams Enjoys working with children and supporting staff Creative mindset; interest in social media and storytelling Previous camp experience an asset Standard First Aid & CPR-C (by June 30) Police Reference Check (VSS) Work Schedule Overview End of April – Mid June Full-time onsite Program planning, training preparation, and hiring support Some pre-arrival off-season work (interviews/planning) may occur Mid June – End of August Full-time onsite residence required Daily program oversight and staff mentorship
