About the Opportunity

Develop and maintain security architecture principles, strategy and practices, roadmaps, and technical applications to engineer reliable solutions and measures for the business.  Apply and incorporate information technologies into proposed solutions, translating operational requirements into protection needs (i.e, security control objectives), designing countermeasures to identified security risks, and designing multi-level security/cross domain solutions. Identify cyber security and privacy issues that stem from connections with internal and external customers and partner organizations  Monitor systems, networks, and applications for potential security breaches or unusual activities.  Investigate and respond to security incidents, minimizing impact and recovering systems.  Create, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.  Advise stakeholders on risks associated with access to critical systems and data, ensuring least-privilege principles are followed.  Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary security documentation and evidence.  Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure critical systems can be restored after an incident. 

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

Diploma, certificate, University degree or equivalent experience  Computer industry specific certifications such as: Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Certified Cloud Security Professional, CompTIA Security+  A minimum of 5 years' experience in cyber security with a focus on technical security architecture  Experience leading major cyber security projects  Working knowledge and experience of cyber security framework and industry standards, such as NIST CSF, NIST –53, CIS, ISF, SoGP, ISO and Payment Card Industry Regulations (PCI DSS)  Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified in Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC) , Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) considered an asset A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
