In your role, you will:Inspects, maintains, repairs, and testaircraft systems.Remove and replace line replaceable units and components.Specialty work in maintenance shops as required.Interpret technical publications and diagrams.Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties.Order aircraft spare parts and materials.Conduct flight line servicing operations.Debrief Team Lead as required.Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups.Fill position of Desk ControllerOur ideal candidate has:Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces AVN Technician)Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license M2 or (M1/ M2 combined)Proven experience as a team player.Good oral and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to work shifts; some travel required.A valid driver’s license.Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.Ability to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of CanadaEligibility to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.Must have experienceNo less than 4 years of aircraft related experienceMinimum 3 years 1st and 2nd line maintenance activitiesExperience in life cycle support activities an assetCAE offers: Group Insurance PlanVacation, paid holidays and sick daysOvertime payRetirement PlanMaternity Leave and Global Parental LeaveFun at work: social and community events all-year roundAt CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
