Other duties will include:A focus on front counter customer service and sales utilizing your previous automotive parts/service and wheel/tire experienceRecommending vehicle service, providing service quotes, and receiving customer authorization for work to be performedSharing product knowledge and technical expertise to provide excellent customer service on the front counter Assisting with the completion of an annual budget; this includes forecasting revenue and expenditures, accurately tracking budget numbers with particular attention to achieving operational benchmarksAssisting with the recruitment and development of a team of Associates dedicated to providing a superior customer experienceSupervise and motivate associates to ensure maximum productivityEnsure all safety policies and procedures are implementedAssist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory countsAssist in identifying and following up on outstanding accounts receivable/credit clientsEnsure store associates have completed all assigned training; providing feedback and reinforcement as requiredAttentively handle customer complaints within a reasonable timeframe and maintain documentation of complaints and resolutionsWhat does it take to get on track?Completion of high school diploma or GED and a post-secondary diploma, degree, or certification is preferredAt least 3 years of experience in the automotive industryPrevious experience as an assistant manager, service writer or service manager is an assetProven leadership ability and previous people management experience (recruitment/discipline) is an asset. Strong computer skillsAbility to set goals and achieve resultsAbility to maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver's abstractEffective communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with customers and teamOrganizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work Market leading wages, a manager with a large support network, and the chance to learn and grow.
