We are currently seeking a Technical Architect to support our ERP (SAP S/4HANA) implementation project. This is a permanent full-time position. As an SAP Technical Architect, you will play a vital leadership role on the SAP project and be responsible for leading the SAP technology solution and stewarding the overall implementation solution. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and architecture of SAP solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices. Your role will involve providing guidance to the implementation team on system design, integration, data management, security, and performance optimization to ensure the successful delivery and long-term sustainability of the SAP solution. Additionally, you will work closely with the project and IT leadership, as well as third-party advisors to make this SAP implementation project a success. RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and architecture of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, process owners, and IT teams, to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements Collaborate with third party advisors to help define the overall SAP solution strategy, roadmap, and architecture, considering scalability, flexibility, and future business needs Guide the implementation team on system design, integration, data management, security, and performance optimization throughout the project lifecycle Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for SAP solution enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and integration of SAP solutions with other internal systems Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, ensuring the project stays on track and meets its objectives Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and provide guidance on their applicability to the project Act as a subject matter expert on SAP technical architecture and provide support and mentorship to the project team QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred A minimum of 10 years of experience as an SAP Technical Architect, or in a similar leadership role within SAP implementation projects Knowledge of SAP technologies, modules, and solutions such as S/4HANA, SAC, SAP FI, SAP SCM, SAP MM, SAP Treasury & Risk Mgmt., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP and Integration Suite, and SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance Strong understanding of SAP integration methodologies, data management principles, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques Experience in defining SAP solution strategies, roadmaps, and architectures, considering business requirements and future scalability Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, process owners, and IT teams Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable and experience with agile project methodologies is a plus We thank you for your interest in ARC Resources Ltd., however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
