Our client, a well-established production facility serving growers and consumers, is known for maintaining efficient operations and high safety standards. We are seeking a reliable Production Line Worker to join their team (35 mins outside of Cornwall)What We Offer:Salary: $23.27 hourly to start.Working Hours: 1st shift 7am–5:30pm (training and regular shift); 2nd shift 5pm–3:30am (regular shift)Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available upon permanent hire.What You’ll Do:Operate, monitor, and tend production line machinery in a safe manner.Prepare and load materials for the packaging line (bags, soil, pallets, labels, etc.).Inspect products for quality, removing any defective items.Move packaged soil to designated areas using hand trucks or pallet jacks.Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.Assist with minor equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting as directed.Follow all company safety and quality policies, WHMIS guidelines, and use PPE correctly.Participate in training sessions and team meetings.What We’re Looking For:Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment considered an asset.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.Able to regularly lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).Attention to detail and commitment to safety.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.Exposure to dust, noise, large equipment, and temperature variations (indoor and outdoor).
