Your leadership will help shape a collaborative environment where quality drives efficiency and the team continue to evolve together. This is full time, permanent, in-office role. What You Get to Do: Deliver accurate architectural and structural drawing packages on time within manufacturing specifications. Model and prepare drawings and BOM’s using Revit through close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering and Estimating teams within the Autodesk ACC environment.Prepare detailed and accurate structural framing drawings using Arkance (Revit Framing Plug-in).Prepare BOM’s and material take-offs directly from the D model. Review and approve shop drawings and vendor submittals.Lead the coordination of architectural and structural designs with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural) to ensure seamless integration with the manufacturing process.Reference the product cost estimate during the drawing process and raise any significant anomalies with the appropriate internal stakeholdersEnsure designs comply with relevant building codes (Canadian and US), standards, regulations, and procedures.Communicate effectively with third-party consultants such as architects, energy code and building envelope engineers. Develop of new and standard work architectural and structural details.Mentor junior designers.Collaborate daily with the plant -your project site-to improve designs and construction processes. Continuously develop the Engineering Standards, Drawing Standards, and Templates with the team and the BIM Specialist.Operate within the ISO Quality system and the company safety policy in all phases of assignments.Other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications: + years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist or equivalent. Expert level Revit and BIM skills required; Arkance experience an asset (training provided).Proficient with Autodesk tools (CAD), Microsoft Office; TwinMotion and Photoshop are assets.Knowledgeable in project‑management processes (RFIs, RFPs, time management, meeting minutes).Strong understanding of building envelope details.Experience with volumetric modular or pre‑engineered building technologies is an asset.Passionate about manufacturing processes and comfortable in fast‑paced, fast‑track project environments.Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Codes and Standards; IBC familiarity an asset.Solid understanding of engineering practices in wood‑construction industries.Knowledge of Energy Codes (, NECB) and their impact on building envelopes.Understanding of multidisciplinary design systems (electrical, mechanical) and building specifications.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills.Self‑starter who works well independently and under pressure.Experience mentoring junior staff.Who we Are:ATCO Structures is a worldwide leader in modular design, manufacturing, and construction.
