DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join our Law team. Reporting to the Legal Manager of Tariff and Transmission, this position is key to moving forward the ISO tariff and cost allocation work in 2026 and, more generally, is accountable for working as part of the legal team to deliver timely, strategic, and proactive legal advice to business units across the AESO that is in the best interest of the AESO, industry participants and Albertans.The Law team plays a key role in the achievement of the AESO’s strategic plan to provide leadership to power Alberta today and into the future. Legal Counsels are knowledge leaders within the AESO and contribute to enabling the transformation of Alberta’s electricity sector while ensuring reliable, affordable power is always available to Albertans.
