Forklift Operator

In this Forklift Operator role, your primary responsibility will be operating industrial lift trucks to move materials around the warehouse and production areas. You will be instrumental in loading and unloading trucks, stacking products in designated storage zones, and supplying production lines with necessary components. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols will be paramount to preventing accidents and ensuring the integrity of the products you handle. Get access to a range of job opportunities through permanent, temp, or contract roles with the best employers, plus ongoing training from a trusted partner who cares about your working life and well-being.Job Location AYLMER Shift - Day and Night Shift Available Pay- 22.00 + shift premium AdvantagesAdvantagesCompetitive starting wage of $22 per hour plus shift premium.Consistent full-time hours on a desirable day shift schedule.Early finish on Fridays, providing an excellent work-life balance.Opportunity to work with a leading employer in the manufacturing & logistics industry in Woodstock.Supportive and safe work environment with a strong focus on team collaboration.Potential for a permanent position based on performance and business needs.Access to Randstad's employee benefits program.ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.Load and unload materials from trailers and transport them to and from designated areas in the facility.Perform daily pre-operational inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.Accurately pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.Work collaboratively with other team members in the manufacturing & logistics department to ensure operational efficiency.Adhere to all company policies and provincial health and safety standards.QualificationsMinimum of one year of direct experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.An external forklift certification is considered a strong asset.Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.Must own a pair of CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots.A demonstrated history of safe work practices and a commitment to workplace safety.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Summaryf you are a qualified Forklift Operator in the area ready to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you This is your chance to join a thriving team and advance your career in the manufacturing & logistics field.
