We are seeking an Engineering Student, for our Toronto District to work in Sudbury, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 month or 8 months starting May 2026. As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:ResponsibilitiesCoordinating drawings, work specific scope / trades, trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates, deficiency walks etcParticipating in project meetings, Inputting / Updating deficiency logs and issuing warrantiesTaking / Coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawingsProducing as-built drawingsPerforming quantity takeoffs, coordinating and supervising sub-trade work and Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawingsSetting-up / Maintaining record keepingLayout site lines and grades using total stationCreating manual schedules, updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software, maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedulesMonitoring workforce productivityQualificationsCandidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
