THE ROLEAs an Intern in Business Finance, you will support with:Forecasting sales and/or business expenses in the short and long term, simultaneously analyzing and explaining key drivers of future growthUnderstanding and analyzing business results including the internal (business-driven) and external (macroeconomic) drivers for P&L line itemsSupporting our business partners with financial analysis, insights, and go-forward recommendations on sales events, special projects, and business initiativesIdentifying opportunities for smart spend management through informed and fact-based business decisionsProviding our business partners and Aritzia Leadership Team with timely and accurate reporting on performance results, calling out key highlights, risks, and opportunitiesTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Intern, Business Finance has/is:Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, with a preferred graduation date of April 2026 to April 2027Preferably pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or BusinessA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessPassion for Aritzia and the fashion industrySkills and experience with Excel are an assetA logical, organized approach with an appreciation for structure and detailsA problem solver who thinks critically to develop insightful solutionsWork experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge, or Distribution Centres is highly valuedWHY BUSINESS FINANCE?Business Finance offers you the ability to understand the Key Drivers and KPIs in the business and how we leverage and use them to Maximize Sales and drive Smart Spending through informed business decisions.Begin to understand and recognize how the Business is managed from a financial perspectiveGain understanding of existing Operational reporting and recommend other reporting capabilities across different areas of the businessMake technical and process improvements to the forecasting and planning modelsWork cross-functionally across all areas to gain business exposureSupport with financial analysis to drive insightful business recommendationsParticipate in cross-functional forecast and planning meetingsTHE LOGISTICSInternship Dates: May 11 – July 31 (12 weeks)Location: Vancouver, BCSuccessful candidates must be able to work at the primary work location and self-relocate if necessaryApplication Deadline: January 25, 2026Application Process: Apply online – be sure to have your cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcript readyApply to one position only – interested in more than one?
