Description :Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs and overhauls on Caterpillar enginesInterface with customers, both internal & externalWorking with the supervisor on allocated tasksContribute to and promote a positive safety cultureMaintain Finning Customer Service Commitment standardsVarious related duties as requiredQualifications & SkillsJourneyperson Heavy Equipment CertificationMinimum 5 years experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician Power Systems experience required, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systemsRental fleet management repair experienceExperienced performing in frame overhaulsDedication to safetyStrong interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbalKnowledge & experience of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an assetCompleted Finning S-level courses would be considered an assetStrong team player with the ability to work alone successfully*Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement**Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
