We are currently seeking a Terminal Operator to join our Fertilizer Distribution Terminal team.About the RoleReporting to the Fertilizer Distribution Terminal Manager, the Terminal Operator plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations at our terminal. This role supports everything from product handling and equipment maintenance to customer service and safety compliance.Key Responsibilities·       Safely receive, load, and transfer products (railcars, trucks, warehouse).·       Blend dry and liquid fertilizer as required.·       Perform inventory control, complete required documentation, and report discrepancies.·       Operate and maintain equipment (forklift, skid steer, telehandler, tractors, etc.).·       Support scheduled facility inspections, audits, and preventative maintenance.·       Ensure the facility, yard, and equipment are kept clean, safe, and hazard-free.·       Handle agrichemicals and fertilizer in compliance with AWSA, WHMIS, TDG, and CMN HSE standards.·       Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product pick-ups and addressing concerns.·       Participate in seasonal overtime and adjust to flexible hours during spring/fall peak season.Qualifications·       Class 5 driver's licence required.·       Experience operating forklifts and other equipment.·       Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with maintenance/repairs.·       Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.·       Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.·       Customer-focused with strong communication skills.·       Ability to complete criminal background check and provide a clean driver’s abstract.·       Willingness to obtain First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, and Forklift certifications.Work Environment·       Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (extended/overtime hours required during peak seasons).·       Exposure to chemicals, dust, fumes, and outdoor weather conditions.·       Mix of office work (documentation, inventory systems) and hands-on operational duties.Why Join CMN?·       Be part of Alberta’s largest independent, employee-owned ag retail.·       Competitive compensation and benefits.·       Opportunity to learn and grow within a supportive, safety-driven team.·       Play a hands-on role in supporting local farmers and communities.Apply today to join our team and help drive safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations at CMN #CMNSales
