Our corporate culture, which is characterized by passion, cooperation, and the drive to move things forward, has allowed us to offer 200 internal promotions to our Canadian employees in recent years.YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM: As an Equipment Operator in our Production Team, it will be your responsibility to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and optimize operations.APPLY and JOIN our dynamic team in a fascinating high-tech environment facing new and exciting challenges daily. Position Overview:To support the daily operations by way of clearing system faults (technical or operational), identifying areas of improvement, and monitoring case throughout using system reports and dialogs.Primary Job Functions:Clear machine faults in a timely and efficient manner using logicRespect established procedures and policiesAdhere to established fault escalation proceduresKeep and ensure work area is clean, organized and free from debrisReturn all products/cases outside of automation to designated areasRegularly sweep floors, remove dust from and underneath equipment and panelsSystem performance monitoring and operational status awarenessLook for areas of improvementEscalation of repetitive faultsUse proper reports and camera angles depending on the job positionProvide feedback of system performance at hand over meetingsComplete the various checklists providedAttend regularly scheduled improvement meetings (rotational basis)Regularly refer to TS-Procedures in our TS-Cluster for a refresh on work procedures relating to your job functionAdherence of 5S principalsAttend pre-shift meetings and absorb information on the daily PowerPoint presentationQualifications:No specific technical education required but preferredMinimum High School Diploma with a noted preference for a post-secondary trades certificate notably in automation or maintenance/mechanical/electrical/electronics related fieldsKnowledge/Experience RequiredTechnically and mechanically inclinedPractical attitude and ability to learn new tasks, concepts and proceduresPC skills in a windows environmentMust be able to work at heights exceeding 20 metersMust be able to work days, evenings and nights and weekends (After ramp up begins, preferred shifts will be assigned based on hire date)Ability to travel if required for trainingTraining in entry level electromechanics an assetOur offer:Excellent Medical and Dental InsuranceRRSPLoyalty Bonus based on hire datePaid Sick daysCompensation for employee referralsInternal training program / tuition reimbursementAdvancement opportunitiesQuality work environmentPay Rate:Hourly positionLocation:Cornwall, ON
