Does the unpredictable excite you?   We have the job you are looking for   You receive and process urgent calls from the public in a way that ensures appropriate interventions are carried out to ensure the safety of the population of the third largest city in Quebec. You operate a computer system to receive and transmit various messages. You route information, messages, and directives to the relevant Service units or organizations.The ideal profile for us Hold a high school diploma (DES) or a college studies certificate (AEC) as a Dispatcher in an emergency call center (asset); Have two (2) years of experience in a communications center (9-1-1, airport, alarm company, etc.), a call center, or in another relevant field; Be available to work rotating shifts during the day, evening, night, weekends, and throughout the year; Have no criminal record related to the job; Very good command of French and English (written and spoken); Comfortable with computer tools and data entry.   The selection process includes various steps such as: A psychometric evaluation; An online practical exercise; Oral English test; An interview; Pre-employment checks including a security clearance.
