CarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision Centre is looking for a highly energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team. We are accepting applications from both Autobody Journeyman technicians, Autobody Apprentices, or individuals with a general knowledge of Auto Body repair willing to undertake in shop training towards their Autobody Journeyman license.POSITION SUMMARYThe individual is responsible for the accurate and timely repair of automotive body damage caused by collision, weather, and other incidents.POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRepairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.Prepares vehicles for body repair work.Notifies management of any additional repairs needed that are not indicated on the work order.Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair, informs management of any items in disrepair and participates in remedial action.Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in conjunction with SOPs and policies.Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTSJourneyman Certificate or Apprenticeship (not required, but an asset).An interest in automotive body and/or mechanical repair is considered an asset.Self-motivated with ability to deliver results.Valid driver's license.About CarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision CentreCarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision Centre is a distinguished OEM-certified collision repair facility in the Strait Area.
