What you’ll do: As a member of Alberni Co-op Leadership team, the Petroleum Manager will be responsible for the planning and direction of their department. The Petroleum Manager will lead our Driver Sales Representatives to provide excellent customer service with petroleum and oil related products. The position will manage and grow current accounts, our customer base, and identify and pursue prospects and growth opportunities efficiently. The Petroleum Manager will help achieve the cooperative’s mission and retail goals. Create customer engagement and drive growth through existing and new customers.Ensure all Health and Safety, and environmental reporting responsibilities are met.To prepare, administer and be responsible for Sales, Margins and Expenses of the petroleum department.To manage, oversee and coordinate petroleum supply and distribution.Ensure facilities and equipment maintenance schedules are adhered to.Why it matters:Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:Have a grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent.Have 1–3 years experience in a management position.Are familiar with sales. A combination of experience and education may be considered.Hold a valid Class 3 driver’s license or higher class, or are willing to obtain it. Strong leadership skills.Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally.You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.What we offer: An approximate salary range of $68,260-$102,385 annually.A comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.Encouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.
