Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), seeks an Animator.Your New Role…In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Animator and Seniors to create high quality animation content for real time gameplay and cinematics for our games. With an end focus on creating high quality content and storytelling, you’ll need to work in collaboration across different disciplines including character, art, technical animation, design, and programming to push the vision forward coherently all while respecting technical constraints and budgets.Your Role Accountabilities...Responsible for animating characters and bringing life to our games with memorable storytelling under WB branded IPs.Be versatile working with motion capture data, keyframe animation, and in-engine manipulation of animation content.Collaborate with other departments to prototype new gameplay features.Participate in departmental meetings to share feedback with peers as a team goal to overall raise the quality together.Deliver tasks on time and on schedule and reviewing content in engine.Animation bug fixing and support.Qualifications & Experience…2+ years of experience in video game development and have worked on at least 1 AAA game.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Understanding of animation foundations for body mechanics, posing and timing.Foundational animation skills for facial animation and acting.Skilled with 3D animation software (Maya, Motionbuilder, etc.).Skilled with the motion capture production process and able to support the pipeline.Experience with Unreal 5 is a strongly desired asset.Good technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Positive attitude and a desire to bring new ideas to the team.Portfolio/Demo Reel/Website demonstrating your animation skills is required.
