We currently have an opportunity for a Millwright at our Lethbridge, AB location. Candidates applying must be able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The hourly wage for this position is $46.57 per hour.Responsibilities:Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rulesParticipate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times:Always using the required personal protective equipmentEnsuring that authorized work is completed safelyUtilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazardsParticipating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiativesReporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedurePerform repairs and maintenance activitiesRepair of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAlignment of gears, shafts, pumps, gear boxes, belts and agitatorsUse of laser equipmentInstallation and removal of motorsConnection of couplings and beltsFabrication of equipment and partsEstablish and implement preventative & operational maintenance activitiesTroubleshootingParticipate in rotational On-Call scheduleOther duties as assignedQualifications:Grade 12 or equivalentValid Journeyman Millwright CertificateSkills to operate precision metal cutting & grinding machines such as lathes, milling machines, drills & grindersAble to use instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers & prepare working sketchesAble to fit parts to mechanisms and verify dimensionsAble to work with computerized maintenance systemExcellent computer, communication and documentation skillsRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
