You as a Senior Estimator will Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure; mentor and train junior estimating staff Assemble accurate, timely and well-organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs, for future reference Is this the right role for you? 10+ years of experience in ICI estimating or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience You have an advanced knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts as well as conceptual estimating and unit costs You have the ability to work effectively and accurately in time-sensitive situations while delegating to a team You have the ability to work independently & have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively. You have experience using various takeoff software, specifically either CostX or BlueBeam.
