Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position ResponsibilitiesConducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditionsInvolved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheetsVerifying order accuracy prior to deliverySafely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequenceLoading and unloading product to and from box trucksCompleting required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.)Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return itemsSort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as requiredInteracting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basisAbility to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goalsComplying with all DOT and NSC regulations QualificationsValid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstractExperience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an assetGood verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to complete routes safely in all weather conditionsAbility to handle high-pressure situationsWhat you can expect from usA dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work A supportive and collaborative team invested in your growth and development
