About the Medical Imaging Department: As part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging with University Health Network, Women's College Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital's Medical Imaging Department provides a state-of-the-art environment for leading edge clinical practice, teaching, and research programs. An international leader in medical imaging, we conduct a large volume of various exams for diverse patient populations from the Emergency Department to Outpatients and Inpatients. In this role you will: Produce diagnostic imaging exams of the highest image quality possible Ensure patient and staff safety in and around the MRI environment Provide exceptional patient care Effectively work independently and as a team member with the goal of maximizing scanner utilization Operate, evaluate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software issues Consistent, thorough documentation of all aspects of MR examination Participate in education of students Participate in research studies if applicable Job Requirements: Mandatory: Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level II certificate Cross sectional anatomy course Preferred: Recent experience as a practicing MRI technologist Skills and Knowledge: Effective time management skills, ability to organize work and set priorities Ability to cope with the physical demands on a daily basis Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Excellent problem recognition and solving skills Ability to accept varying shifts and responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent teaching skills If this sounds like you and you're ready to build your career within medical imaging, apply via the button below and let us know why you would be a great addition to our team.
