Ward Clerk – Chemotherapy/IV Infusion Clinic

Position Information: The Chemo Ward Clerk is responsible for screening and booking all new oncology treatment referrals from London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) based on program criteria. Essential Job Functions: 1.Registers patients to chemotherapy/IV infusion clinic or other adhoc clinics (ie Palliative care outreach, Medical Oncology) as directed by program criteria2. Acts as a receptionist for the chemotherapy/IV infusion clinic, answering inquiries of a general nature by patients, visitors, other departments, nursing staff and physicians assisting in a friendly and cooperative manner3. Receives all in coming referrals and schedules required appointments. 4. Prepares laboratory and DI requisitions5.
