If this resonates with you, please keep reading This is a Permanent Part Time role with 30 hours bi-weekly. Saturday 11:00pm-7:00am Sunday 11:00pm-7:00am Wage Leveling rate of pay $24.08 per hour until such time that wage leveling ends, then the pay rate will reflect the collective agreement pay rates. What You’ll Be Doing: You will be a welcomed member of the Retirement team, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Housekeeper you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day. Provide Thorough Cleaning within the Retirement Home Receive assignments, gather materials, and transport supplies to work area. Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including Resident room cleaning as per assigned schedule. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets. Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors. Dusting and sanitizing furniture, shelves, and woodwork. Emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture. Daily cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, including floors, fixtures, and walls. Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation Ensure residents' privacy is respected during cleaning duties. Prepare rooms for new occupants according to prescribed procedures, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times. Perform any other assigned duties as needed. Who You Are: Have experience in housekeeping You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully You are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
