We are looking for a full time Warehouse Associate in our Distribution Center Long Sault, ON . Reporting to the manager, this role is to assist with various functions in the warehouse, ensuring proper organization of warehouse and inventory/equipment as well as packing, shipping, receiving and distribution of goods and supplies.We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:Starting wage $20/per hour, payscale can go up to $24/per hour after completed probation and reached training requirements. Generous RPP matching program5%(after one year)Full health and dental benefits (shared costs)Great schedule-Monday to Friday 8-5Opportunity for growth and to train as a Rigger TechnicianFun & engaging working environmentPrinciple ResponsibilitiesPrepare, package and schedule out-going shipments with transport companiesShip customer orders and branch transfers ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurateObtain rate and spot quotes for shipmentsTrack shipments as requiredReceive, unload, sort orders and inter-company transfers accurately and in a timely mannerMaintains accurate bin locations for all goods in the warehouseRepetitive motion of hand and wrists including gripping, twisting, pulling, and pushingFrequent bending and twisting of torsoAble to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist levelAble to climb ladders and work at heights over 10’Standing for periods of time on various ground conditions i.e. concrete, steel flooringRequired knowledge and trainingHigh school degree or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environmentComputer experience and attention to detailPrevious training in forklift operation considered an assetLegally entitled to work in CanadaThe Hercules Group of Companies is a privately owned Canadian company, headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; it is comprised of five distinct companies—Hercules SLR, Spartan Industrial Marine, Stellar Industrial Sales, Atlantic Crane and Materiel Handling and Wire Rope Industries Atlantic—with Hercules Machining & Millwright Services as a division of Hercules SLR.
