Our in-house CAD department allows us to provide innovative and precise architectural designs that meet our clients' needs efficiently. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a vital role in the creation of designs and drawings for various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with the Project Team, external engineering firms, consultants, and trade contractors. Work closely with the Project Team to translate design concepts into comprehensive construction documentation. Generate detailed technical designs, construction drawings, architectural schematics, and related documentation. Analyze building codes, bylaws, spatial requirements, site conditions, and other technical documents to inform design plans. Job RequirementsOur ideal candidate has the following: Completion of 2 2-year Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related construction-focused program from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role required. Proficiency in Revit, BIM360 and other computer-aided design software. Ability to read and understand construction drawings from all disciplines. Ability to work in a fast-paced design-build environment.
