We’re on the lookout for talented Sheet Metal Apprentices to join our team at Modern Niagara as we embark on an exciting journey.Duties and Responsibilities: Perform assigned tasks and responsibilities efficiently and effectively under the direction and guidance of the Foreperson and Journeypersons Read and interpret blueprint drawings, shop drawings, and spec’s requirements for assigned projects Analyze and interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical documentation, and equipment specifications Adhere and uphold all safety protocols and measures put in place by Modern Niagara to ensure the safety of all employees Must haves: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Mechanical Trade qualification or currently enrolled in an Apprenticeship program is a strong asset Driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow within their position Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong attention to detail Safety conscience individual who respects and adheres to all safety measures whilst on site Strong work ethic with impressive problem solving/troubleshooting skills Ability to work on own initiative but also within a team.
