If you have razor-sharp analytical and technical skills and know how to manage ongoing regulatory matters, we want to hear from you.We ProvideFull benefits package for full-time employeesRetirement savings planExciting, supportive and fun work environmentFamily and friends discounts on travel, tech, food, beverage, and fitnessDevelopment and training opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain a presence on the gaming floor to be able to quickly respond to inquiries and issues as they arise.Control access to the facility and sensitive areas and assist departments.Compile and write reports and maintain a daily log.Oversee and conduct investigations.Ensures that all aspects of the Security department meet and or exceed the casino and regulators standards, policies and procedures. Manages, contributes and applies strategies to improve processes, standards, customer service and team morale.Supervises and participates in the security team activities and shifts by leading, training, mentoring, evaluating, and providing feedback as appropriate. Develops and supervises staff to achieve high levels of performance and customer service. Oversees the human resources issues, performance, safety and recruitment needs of the departmentRetains a thorough and updated knowledge of company policies and procedures, provincial and local regulations for casino operations.Contributes to the service standards and department budget. Ensures scheduling and expenditures are controlled.What You BringPost-secondary education in law or security.Minimum one year of experience in the security industry.Refined understanding of customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.An organized and analytical disposition and the capacity to manage a team.Current First Aid/CPR certification.Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.Positive energy and exceptional customer service skills.Working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheets, email, Internet navigation, and presentation software.Ability to work flexible hours and available to be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies.Why Work With Us?Gateway celebrates and empowers our team members, who make it all possible.
