Responsibilities will include:Delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring products are ready and available for customersAssisting in driving sales, margins, and offering ideas to generate revenueEnsuring merchandising, production, and health & safety standards are maintainedTimely completion of all department tasksTaking customer orders in person or over the phone, asking supervisor for help if neededHandling and preparing all produce inventoriesAdhering to Evergreen Co-op policies and proceduresWe are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:Food preparation/food safety experience an assetOrganizational skills and great time managementQuality communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and a team playerAbility to handle sharp knives for food prep if requiredSense of urgency, and customer first attitudeA drive to deliver an exceptional member experience through living our brandAbility to be physically active and lift up to 50Ibs unassisted, as well as a good portion of the day doing static positionsAs part of Evergreen Co-operative Association’s hiring process, pre-employment background checks will be required for all candidates.
