(TDMH) Cleaner

Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Cleaner position in our Support Services department.The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial HospitalThe duration of this temporary contract would be approximately until June 2026, or sooner, as determined by RRHS.Position Summary:Perform necessary cleaning duties as required with the objective of maintaining the hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.Key Responsibilities:Keep assigned areas clean by scouring, scrubbing, mopping, polishing, stripping, sealing, buffing and finishing. Use housekeeping equipment as required and described in the departmental procedures.Prepare cleaning solutions as required by procedures and manufacturer's instructions.Remove waste from designated areas.Inclement weather and exterior duties as assigned.Ensures patient safety and infection prevention and control relating to the position.Qualifications Required:Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent acceptable to the Hospital.Physically able to perform the requirements of the job.Able to perform cleaning duties as required, in a clean, sanitary and orderly mannerComputer knowledge and proficiency preferred.Demonstrated ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basisOther pertinent conditions: Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($28.86 per hour to $29.55 per hour)Applying to this Position:If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for the position, please click on APPLY NOW and submit a resume detailing your qualifications.Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include; weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts.
