Education No degree, certificate or diploma needed. Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) are an asset, but not required. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate; Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC); Fall Arrest Protection Training Course Experience Will Train Specific Skills Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites; Mix, pour and spread materials; Load, unload and transport construction materials; Assist in demolishing buildings; Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, etc; Clean and pile salvaged materials; Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Equipment and Machinery Experience Drills; Reciprocating saws; Circular saws Construction Specialization Residential; Industrial, commercial and institutional Weight Handling up to 23Kg (50lbs) Security and Safety Bondable; Driving record check (abstract); Criminal record check Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots; Safety glasses/goggles Work Site Environment Confined spaces; Outdoors; At heights Transportation/Travel Information Own transportation; Vehicle supplies by employer; Valid driver’s licence; Public transportation is not available Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment; repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding Work location Information; Various locations Personal Suitability Team Player; Client focus; Reliability Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday On call Experience: construction: 1 year (preferred)
