Currently, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as Industrial Mechanic Millwrights in Timmins, Ontario. We are actively seeking to fill this position to support the continued success of our operations. The key responsibilities of the Industrial Mechanic Millwrights include, but not limited to: Installing, troubleshooting, dismantling, re-assembling, overhauling and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plansOperating hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair of machineryPerforming scheduled, emergency and preventative maintenance in the shop, plant, field and undergroundFollowing daily line-ups and executing scheduled work in accordance with health and safety standards as well as manufacturer specifications Qualifications Must be in your 3rd or 4th year Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) apprenticeshipRepairs and MTCE with underground crusher experience Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright License is considered an assetExperience with repairs, overhauls, installations, dismantling, modifying, replacing, adjusting, testing, lubricating and maintaining all types of plant and mine equipment and tools Welding and fabrication experience is an assetStrong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipmentAbility to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresAbility to work as a team in a fast-paced environmentCommitted to maintaining a safe and efficient work environmentMust be willing to work at any of the underground mine sites that Technica operates at Why Choose Technica?
