Position description The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Mount Allison University invites applications for 2 stipendiary (part-time) appointments in the Winter 2026 semester. While the Winter session classes runs from January 07 – April 06, 2026, the contract will run from Dec 15, 2025 – April 15, 2026. Candidates may apply to one or both of the following: FREN 2501 Langues et lectures II MWF 11:30-12:20 FREN 3991 Special topics in French or francophone literatures MWF 2:30-3:20 Course descriptions available here: Candidates should have completed an M.A. or PhD in French Studies or equivalent degree. Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience at the university level. These courses involve three hours of class time per week, and the anticipated class size is 10-15 students. Preference is for in-person, on-campus courses, but applications for online instruction will also be considered. Review of applications will commence November 24, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.
