/Job Description/gUnder the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts create a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. Hosts leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail.Maintain a warm, welcoming, and professional presence, both in person and over the phone, even during peak service periods.Communicate confidently and effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to support proper guest flow throughout the restaurant.Escort guests to their tables while engaging them in courteous and professional conversation.Accurately manage reservations both over the phone and in person, demonstrating strong attention to detail.Uphold the importance of first impressions by ensuring the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are clean, organized, fully stocked, and free from clutter.Quickly develop thorough knowledge of table numbers and maintain clear awareness of all dining room sections.Perform other duties as assigned or required.QualificationsProven prior experience in a similar position Valid Pro Serve certificationHigh attention to detailAbility to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environmentOrganizational skills and ability to multi-taskStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentumMinimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an assetAvailability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededLegally eligible to work in Canada
