Procurement AgentCompany:Boeing Canada Operations LtdBoeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking an Indirect Supply Chain Procurement Agent, reporting to the Indirect Supply Chain Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office.The Indirect Supply Chain Procurement Agent will join a dynamic team of professionals and perform activities related to committing company resources to purchase indirect goods and services, developing supplier strategies, preparing bid packages, analyzing proposals, developing contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Position Responsibilities:Integrates program, customer, product and strategies into RFX packages, source selection, negotiation and contracting strategiesDevelopment and execution of commodity strategiesNegotiates pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.Conducts risk, issues and opportunities managementProcess consumable spot buy requisitions and purchase orders promptly; obtain competitive quotes and monitor supplier confirmationsManages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceResolve supplier issues and expedite items as needed; escalate concerns for visibilityInitiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategiesDevelop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal stakeholders, and peers, including the ability to gain rapport and engage with internal and external stakeholdersWork directly with suppliers and operations to resolve emergent issuesMaintain Boeing and supplier metrics collaboratively and ensure jointly reviewedParticipates and lead supplier performance reviews and cross functional improvement teamsThe candidate should demonstrate strong business acumen, written and verbal communication skills as well as adept problem-solving abilityThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):2+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain experience, or Procurement practices and processesExperience working in SAP or another MRP systemExperience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to travel up to 20% of the time internationally/domesticallyMust be legally able to work in CanadaIndividuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goodsMust be eligible to handle US export-controlled dataPreferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain with MRO experience, or Procurement practices and processesPost-secondary educationProject management experience or certificationExperience working with capital procurementsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExperience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentAbility to be self-directed in work and/or previous experience in a self-directed roleAdditional Information:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada.
