Our team is responsible for the development of the structural analysis tools used on our Global & Challenger business aircraft. During your internship, you will contribute to… Work within Bombardier’s Advanced Structures Engineering team, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts (aerostructures, performance, systems, fatigue & damage tolerance). Develop, structure, and integrate modular libraries enabling the creation of aircraft‑specific mission definitions (sets of flight profiles, loads, durations, operational sequences, etc.). Actively participate in solving technical and architectural challenges, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the tool’s performance, robustness, and maintainability. Design and develop a graphical user interface (GUI) that coherently integrates all developed functionalities and modules to facilitate use by engineers and analysts. How to thrive in this role? What we are looking for… You are enrolled in a computer science or mechanical engineering degree. You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0 and over). You are familiar with C++, C# and Visual Studio suite is a plus. You have experience with software application testing and debugging You are knowledgeable of object-oriented programming methods. You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic. You are available for an extension or a longer internship (8 month) ​Boarding Information: Location: Administrative Centre (CA) Duration: 8 months Flexible workplace-Hybrid It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose. ​
