The Village of Maynard Nursing Home has an exciting opportunity for a Late Cook to join their team. • Status: Permanent Part-Time Day Shift details :14:00 -18:00 - 40Hrs Biweekly  Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday-Friday. Week 2 - Monday-Thursday, Saturday & Sunday • Location: 28 Halton Street, Toronto, ON • Expected Start Date: Tentative  The hiring rate for this role is $ 24.11 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Be able to lift up to 35lbs;  Follow meal plans in accordance with Physicians orders and nutritional guidelines, and are able to lead other team members in pursuit of a resident-centered dining experience. Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support It would be an asset if you have: Grade 12 or equivalent Excellent communication skills Knowledge of therapeutic diets Produced food in large quantities, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting Have proven leadership abilities Contribute toward a resident-centered care approach ensuring respect and dignity to all residents.
