 Job Description Location: Mississauga, ON (ONSITE FULL-TIME) Title: Copier Technician (Sharp Technical Services Centre Technician). Job Summary The STSC (Sharp Technical Services Centre) Technician role supports the organization by assembling, configuring, and preparing new equipment, as well as maintaining and repairing existing inventory. The Technician ensures accurate equipment setup, quality control, and effective communication with internal teams to support seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities Assemble and calibrate new devices according to customer specifications. Troubleshoot and repair returned or used equipment. Maintain stock lists and TO02_3002 inventory with accurate tracking. Assist field service teams when required. Liaise with Service, Technical Support, CX, and Sales teams on deliverables. Improve technical knowledge of equipment models and STSC processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Receiving new equipment Unpacking and assembling MFPs (Copiers/Printers) and options Calibrating and testing equipment Confirming completion with the CX team Receiving RA equipment for inspection Assisting with repairs. Maintaining workspace for safety and cleanliness. Technicians work independently, making informed decisions based on training and experience. Strong interdepartmental communication is essential. Quality assurance is a key responsibility before confirming task completion. Occasional travel to customer locations may be required. Qualifications Technical aptitude (relevant experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical repairs) and experience in physical or mechanical work are assets. College of electronics of equivalent experience are an asset. An ideal candidate would have excellent knowledge of digital and/or analog electronics. Troubleshooting ability. Clear communication. Independent work capability. Team collaboration. Strong work ethic. Adaptability and continuous learning. Attention to detail. Must have valid G or G2 Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle for use. All training is provided onsite at STSC. This entry‑level role offers advancement toward field service or other technical roles. Work Conditions The setup area is a workspace within the larger STSC warehouse, equipped with shared workbenches, power and network drops, storage racks, and common-use appliances. Technicians regularly move through warehouse aisles that also accommodate vehicle traffic, requiring situational awareness for safety. Technicians work with various types of equipment including MFPs, displays, and consumer electronics. They are equipped with a company phone, laptop, and required tools such as manual/power tools, cleaning supplies, and testing devices. Technicians may work independently or in small groups. Workload increases during month‑end periods, requiring close collaboration with managers and technical staff. The environment is climate‑controlled but can be dusty; noise levels are moderate due to warehouse equipment. The role requires repetitive lifting, bending, kneeling, and equipment handling. The technician must remain composed under pressure and always communicate professionally.   **Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd.
